Memory of History: Explore ancient manuscripts with ease.
The mobile application called Memory of History was produced by Ankara Social Sciences Foundation and project partners.
The project called Memory of History, the digitization of manuscripts from the Ottoman period, is supported by the Turkish National Agency and the European Commission Erasmus+ program. Ankara Social Sciences Foundation and its partners are responsible for the content and design of the mobile software created within the scope of the project. Turkish National Agency and the European Commission cannot be held responsible in this regard.
The project is carried out in partnership with Ankara Social Sciences Foundation, Education Career and Planning Association, International Media Communication Association, Social Education and Development Association (Turkey), ZIB (Germany), An Najah University (Palestine) and Inercia Digital (Spain).
The aim of the project is to digitize manuscripts from the Ottoman period in order to ensure intercultural transfer and to make them available to the public in an online library free of charge. In the library content, manuscripts such as books, documents, decrees, pictures, scientific works, etc. from the Ottoman period were digitized and their identities were created.
